Remember it is always best to buy what is IN SEASON. You can also purchase what is in season ans freeze it for later. This will not take away from the nutrients.
However, steaming your vegetables does not away the nutrients in your produce so make sure you save the "green" water that you steam the vegetables in and add it to your morning shake or smoothie. This will give you extra nutrients in your morning fuel.
